EC/pH Monitor

The monitor 2050 contains features that make it useful for both the beginner and advanced farmer.
    Simplicity- just connect power and a water inlet line and the unit is immediately ready for use.
    Reliability- due to its 2 industrial quality electrodes and the galvanic isolation that prevents electric disturbances.
    Semi-automatic calibration- a quick and easy electronic calibration via the monitor's keyboard. No more need for tools or an authorized technician for each calibration.
Applications
    On-line monitoring of pH/EC values of water solutions throughout a large LCD display.
    Transmission of 4..20mA output, proportional to actual values of pH & EC and an optional digital RS485 communication output for use of data logging or display by computers or electronic control systems.
    The 2050 EC/pH monitor can be used as a stand-alone monitoring unit for any irrigation system or as an integral part of complete fertigation control systems such as Eldar Shany Technologies's "Ometz", "Fertigal", "Shahak", "Dagan" or others.

Using the function keys
'Menu'- enter the main menu.

'Select'- select the desired item.

'Enter'- enter selected item or executes last selection.

'Esc'- return to reading status.

Calibration Instruction
    'Service'- for technician's use only.
    'Autoset pH (EC)' calibration- return to original calibration (as calibrated by the factory)- for use in case of unproper calibration solution and/or if readings are not reasonable.
    EC calibration:
      1. select calibration solution;
      2. "to EC 1.4 (or 5.0)"- dip EC electrode in the proper calibration solution (after rinsing it) and press 'Enter', display shows: 'EC wait'; after about 10 seconds display shows 'To EC 0.0';
      3. now take the electrode out, rinse and dry it and press 'Enter'; wait about 10 seconds, until monitor returns to initial position;
      4. EC calibration is completed.
    pH calibration
      1. After entering, display shows 'To pH 7.0'. Dip electrode (after rinsing) into pH 7.0 calibration solution, press 'Enter'; display shows 'pH Wait'; after about 30 seconds display shows 'To pH 4.0'
      2. Now dip electrode (after rinsing) into pH 4.0 solution, press 'Enter'; display shows 'pH Wait'; wait about 30 seconds until monitor returns to initial position.
      3. pH calibration is completed.
