FertiJet – The Maestro of fertigation

Powered by Elgal controller, Fertijet is closing a circle of our products up to the end of your irrigation and fertigation needs. Fertijet takes some of the main line’s water, Mixes the required amount of dissolved fertilizer in it, and then inject it back to the main line. The fertilizer injection obtained by accelerating the water through a set of Venturi injectors which controlled by special electro-valves. Those valves are pulsed for instants between ½ to few seconds according to the given program. The Fertijet monitors the mainline water a certain distance downstream of the injection point for online EC and pH values and the controller program does the corrections as required by changing the electro valves pulse length.

Performances
Performance of fertigation machines are measured in terms of dissolved fertilizer solution rate that can be injected into the water. X-axis of the cart below refers to the mainline flow rate. The rate indicated in the chart specifies the maximum injection rate of each one of 3 different available nutrients that can be injected via the Venturi injector. The acid (pH) source is not displayed here, since by default it is defined to enable the highest possible required rate - 0.05% (or less) of a 10% diluted acid.


To configure the specific layout that suitable to your needs – all you have to do is to characterize your required injection rate and how many types of fertilizer solutions you have to apply. You highest and lowest mainline flow rates are listed according to the existing irrigation system. Send the information to your local distributor and ask for quotation now.

Line pressure:
Minimum line pressure – 35 m (50 PSI).
Optimal line pressure – 45 m (65 PSI).
Maximum line pressure – 50 m (70 PSI).


Fertijet assembly consist of:

An Aluminum frame  
Set of Venturi injectors according to requirement
An Accelerating pump + electric operation board.
Optional: A possible layout when the injection point located near by the main irrigation pumping station, to inject to the pumping station’s upstream side. In such case the accelerating pump will be redundant.
A set of Eldar Shany EC-pH3505 sensor including sampling cell, EC probe, pH probe and the interactive unique transmitter with the ability to perform soft calibration and alert when the probe is out of order.
Safety Pressure switch for preventing operation when the mainline pressure is low  


Optional accessories:
    A set of NC valves that cut-off fertilizer line when the irrigation is off.
    Additional option: as fertilizer selector valves to enable multi types of fertilizer from the same injector set.
    Flow indicators – an easy way to adjust and monitor each injector work.
    Fertilizer meters – an important add-ins for farther safety and preciseness.
