Compact Control Head for Greenhouses Fertigation

The "Shahak", designed and manufactured by Eldar Shany Technologies, is a unique, simple and modular fertigation system for greenhouses based on direct accurate injection of nutrients into the irrigation water pipe along with EC-pH control and irrigation control by the sophisticated Elgal computerized controller. It can be adapted to both high and low pressures and to a very wide range of water capacities, typical for greenhouses. The Elgal controllers installed on the "Shahak" can also execute misting, drainage, filters flushing and even climate control.

Technical specifications:

Adjustable flow-rate.

The "Shahak" consists of the main following components:

	Hydrometer- a main valve, water meter and non-return valve, all in one unit.
	An adjustable pressure regulator.
	An electronic pressostat for low-pressure detection.
	PVC manifold with 3 inlets for fertilizer injection (optional additional inlets by special requests).
	pH and EC industrial electrodes installed in a sampling cell.
	An outlet for misting system located before the main valve (not in all models).
	A 3/4" service valve (not in all models).
	A pressure gauge with 2 points selector.
	Air release valve.
	A main electric control panel.
	A command box for fertilizer pumps including a 3-position switch, a fuse and an electronic relay for soft startup for each fertilizer pump.
	A pH/EC monitor unit consisting of a transmitter with 4..20mA output and galvanic isolation, a large LCD display and four-button keyboard for semi-automatic calibration.
	Plastic filter (120 MESH).
	A compact stainless steel frame (140x80x120 cm) that enables an easy approach to all of the system's parts for service purpose and transporting by any standard commercial vehicle.
	Elgal controller from one of the standard models supplied by Eldar Shany Technologies.
	A set of fertilizer dosing pumps according to customer's needs.

Application program of Elgal controllers installed on Shahak are the same as for other Eldar Shany Technologies's fertigation systems. They are flexible and specially designed to meet all requirements of soil-less media irrigation and fertigation control.
